Born in Belgium, and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Marlene had to find a way to adapt to  the American culture and what better way than through music? Marlene’s first language was French and she taught herself English by listening to music and singing along to her favorite artists like, Brandy, Jasmine Sullivan, and India Arie. Marlene just recently started writing seriously. Marlene has been exploring her voice and she plans on recording her own music in the near future.
